TL Cashew M23 is a specific variety of cashew tree cultivated and widely favored in Cambodia.
Key characteristics of the M23 variety

- High kernel outturn ratio (KOR): M23 trees produce a high percentage of usable kernels by weight compared to other cashew varieties, with a KOR of 28–33%.
- Disease and weather resistance: The variety is known for its strong resilience to heat, dry conditions, and common cashew pests and diseases. This makes it a dependable, high-yield crop for Cambodian farmers.
- Nutritional content: The M23 nut boasts superior nutritional value, with higher concentrations of oleic acid (Omega-3), selenium, and carbohydrates compared to other cashews.
